Vadim Vaskovsky
Born in 1973, he spent his childhood in Central Asia, Russia, and Ukraine. Since graduating from the Grekov Art College (Odessa, Ukraine) in 1989, his work has been featured in numerous exhibitions and publications.
After moving to Canada in 2002, he has been working as both a commercial and a fine artist whose client list includes Cat, Merrell, NHL, NBA, Global TV, Rogers, Koch Entertainment, Strategy Magazine, Sposa Magazine, Impact Mobile. Vaskovsky’s canvases can be found in private collections in Europe, Canada and the United States.
"I love to paint and draw from my childhood. There are so many interesting things in our world. So many shapes, colours, characters and situations. Each one has its meaning I try to discover in drawing. Cormorants on a floating tree branch, sea lapping under the moon, children play... All is in harmony.
I consider art as a chance to be honest and devoted disciple of Nature. I seek a melody on a canvas that thaws human heart.”
