Artist Statement:
I have been a
self-employed, professional artist with a full-time studio practice since 2005.
My artwork is an
exploration of themes relevant to the time and place in which they are created.
I use it as a vehicle to illustrate the many correlations that life presents
itself through the contextualization of the everyday with the iconography of
popular culture and observations of the human condition. Visual clues do indeed
provide chronology for future reference however the themes represented I would
think are universal, timeless and are much to be painted for long after I
finish my turn.
